• For the ALINE project, we are urgently seeking a Java developer (frontend and backend) for a full-time, multi-year position in a team of approximately eight people. The ALINE project will involve completely redevelopment of an existing application (GOTOT-IN) using modern technologies.
• GOTOT-IN is a database for centralizing all information regarding certificates of applicable legislation for persons subject to foreign social security who are active in Belgium. This application is also the tool for processing applications for applicable legislation from foreign institutions within the framework of the European EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information) framework.
• As a Java Developer, you'll be part of a dynamic team organized according to Agile/Scrum principles. You'll participate in the development of new applications based on existing development standards and frameworks. Based on functional analysis documents or JIRA tickets prepared by analysts and technical guidelines from architects, you'll oversee the development, testing, and documentation of projects or modifications.
• You have a master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have knowledge of the following technologies:

• Working from home is possible for 3 to 4 days, provided that good performance can be demonstrated in each sprint. Working with the team in Ghent is expected at least 1 day per week.
